The Green Bay Packers made a trio of assistant-coach hires official Thursday, announcing the addition of inside-linebackers coach Kirk Olivadotti, tight-ends coach Justin Outten, and O-line coach Adam Stenavich.
While reports connected all three of the coaches to the Packers prior to the team’s announcement, the press release did include some important details. Olivadotti’s role with the team will not include outside linebackers, leaving open the possibility that head coach Matt LaFleur and defensive coordinator Mike Pettine could add another assistant to coach that position group. Green Bay has employed outside-linebackers coaches in the past, perhaps most famously Kevin Greene during the early years of the Mike McCarthy era.
