Verizon and The Green Bay Packers are holding a press conference on Tuesday morning to announce a new partnership program to help combat domestic violence.
From their press release:
The partnership will provide much needed financial support and supplies for programs offered by domestic violence prevention organizations and shelters across the state of Wisconsin, including Golden House in Green Bay. This year, there is a special call-to-action for public participation through the month of October, which is Domestic Violence Awareness Month.
Packers wide receiver Ty Montgomery is involved with the partnership, and is featured in a new public service announcement produced by Verizon, encouraging fans to donate their old phones to HopeLine® from Verizon.
