After the Green Bay Packers' Week 3 victory over the Tennessee Titans, Justis noted that we saw a pretty big jump in defensive snaps from Edgerrin Cooper. If you look at the percentage of snaps, Cooper played 14.5% of defensive snaps in Week 1, 12.5% in Week 2 and 33.3% in Week 3.
According to Justis, most of that jump comes in the form in Nickel snaps, with Cooper picking up “roughly one-third of the nickel snaps next to Walker.” If that’s what it takes to get more snaps of Cooper, I might be fully on the “just run everything out of Nickel” train.
