The road to becoming an NFL All-Pro and one of the most dangerous kick returners in the league wasn’t without its speed bumps for Green Bay Packers standout Keisean Nixon.
He attended four high schools. Then it was on to junior college ball before he got his shot to play in a Power 5 conference when he transferred to South Carolina of the SEC.
But despite a solid senior campaign with the Gamecocks – one in which he led the team in pass breakups with nine and finished with 42 solo tackles and 63 total tackles in 12 games – Nixon faced another imposing challenge as he looked to pry his way onto an NFL roster: He had to go the undrafted route.
