With so many injuries on the roster at present, the Green Bay Packers made a roster transaction on Saturday to get ready for Sunday’s game against the Dallas Cowboys.
This move comes specifically as a result of running back Jamaal Williams’ absence. The team ruled Williams out on the Friday injury report with a concussion, confirming what was widely expected throughout the week after he left the field on a stretcher early in last Thursday’s game.
To help bolster the short-handed running back group, the Packers have promoted Tra Carson from the practice squad to the 53-man roster, waiving defensive lineman Fadol Brown in the process.
