The Green Bay Packers are adding veteran running back James Robinson, per Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.
It’s unclear at this point if Robinson will be signed to the 53-man roster — which would require a corresponding roster move — or if he’ll be added to the practice squad, where there’s an open spot. The transaction should be processed Tuesday. Either way, Robinson’s arrival would seem to suggest the end of Patrick Taylor’s time in Green Bay. Taylor was signed to the 53-man roster ahead of last week’s loss to the Las Vegas Raiders but subsequently released a day after, and he hasn’t been re-added to the roster in any capacity.
