The Packers have added another wide receiver to their practice squad, this time signing former Denver Broncos wide receiver Juwann Winfree. The Broncos picked Winfree in the sixth round of the 2019 NFL Draft, but he appeared in just three games in Denver and never recorded a catch, participating primarily on special teams.
Listed at 6-foot-3 (but measuring just 6-foot-1 at Colorado’s pro day) and 215 pounds, Winfree more or less fits Brian Gutekunst’s big-bodied preference for wide receivers. He’s not a burner by any means, either, recording a 40-yard dash of just 4.
