It’s a historically deep class at wide receiver in this year’s draft, which is great news for the Green Bay Packers, a team in desperate need of adding more pass catchers. GM Brian Gutekunst could have the option to pass on the receivers in the first round given the depth in the class, but he will also have the opportunity to double down at the position.
Should the Packers decide to address the position with the 30th overall selection in April, one option could be Penn State’s KJ Hamler.
Hamler is the Packers’ choice in the latest NFL Mocks first-round mock draft by Dan Schmelzer.
