Veterans reported to Green Bay for training camp on Sunday, a day before the team is scheduled to have their first practice of camp. Earlier this week, rookies and players who were previously injured in the Packers’ spring practices reported, which led to five players being placed on the physically unable to perform or non-football injury lists. One of those players, quarterback-turner-receiver Alex McGough, has already been released by the team to make room for a new pass-catcher.
When the veterans showed up to town, the Packers didn’t get any good news, either, as rookie draft pick safety Kitan Oladapo (foot) was joined by three veterans on the non-football injury list: cornerback Corey Ballentine, tackle Caleb Jones and receiver Jayden Reed.
