Two days ago, the Green Bay Packers’ rookies and injured players reported to the club for training camp. While veterans aren’t expected to show up until Sunday, we’ve already received a bit of roster news.
One of the five players who the Packers officially placed on injury lists was receiver Alex McGough, who converted to the position after being the team’s practice squad quarterback in 2023 following an MVP season at the USFL level. McGough sustained an undisclosed leg injury in minicamp, which led to him landing on the physically unable to perform list.
