2020 sixth-round pick Simon Stepaniak has finally made it off the non-football injury list, ending a nearly year-long journey back to playing shape after tearing an ACL late in his college career.
Stepaniak, whom the Packers took with the 209th pick in this spring’s draft, injured his knee while preparing for Indiana’s bowl game late in the 2019 season. He landed on the non-football injury list with the Packers as he rehabbed that injury, but made steady progress. Now, he’s completed his return to football and has been added to the active roster.
The 6-foot-4, 313-pound Stepaniak started 31 games at guard during his college career.
