Packers activate Marquez Valdes-Scantling from injured reserve, bring up Blake Bortles

When Jordan Love starts his first regular season game for the Green Bay Packers on Sunday, he will have the services of the team’s top deep threat receiver. On Saturday, the Packers activated Marquez Valdes-Scantling off injured reserve and back onto the active roster, making him eligible to play against the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday.

Valdes-Scantling has missed all but the first three games of the 2021 season with a hamstring injury, which he suffered during the Packers’ victory over the San Francisco 49ers. He caught three passes for 59 yards and a touchdown in that game and has a total of six receptions for 76 yards this season.
