After another week of disappointing offensive production, the Green Bay Packers could use a boost to the receiving corps. To that end, they appear to have made some significant roster moves. According to a team press release, the Packers have activated tight end Andrew Quarless and placed wide receiver Ty Montgomery on season-ending injured reserve.
Quarless became eligible to come off of short-term injured reserve back in November, but Green Bay waited several weeks to allow him to work his way back into football shape. The tight end's addition gives Aaron Rodgers another reliable target in the passing game, as well as a capable blocker for the ground attack.
