The Green Bay Packers' top running back suffered an MCL sprain in Sunday's loss to the Chicago Bears, according to NFL.com's Ian Rapoport.
#Packers RB Aaron Jones, who was declared out vs. the #Bears, is believed to have suffered a sprained MCL, source said. The injury for the up-and-coming back is not considered serious.
Rapoport notes that the injury isn't believed to be serious. He was questionable to return to the game before being ruled out early in the second half.
Jones only ran the ball four times for eight yards before taking himself out of the game and giving way to Jamaal Williams, who shouldered the load for the remainder of the game en route to 16 touches and 97 yards -- not that he had any choice considering he was the only healthy tailback on the Packers' roster.
