Despite punter JK Scott appearing on the injury report with an illness, the Green Bay Packers will have him available for Sunday’s NFC championship matchup with the San Francisco 49ers.
After an illness spread through the Green Bay locker room leading up to last Sunday’s tilt with the Seattle Seahawks, Scott became sick less than 48 hours before the NFC title game, casting his availability in doubt. However, the Packers opted against filling their 53rd roster spot with a backup punter on Saturday, using it instead to activate defensive back Raven Greene off injured reserve.
