Packers 24 Rams 12: Game Balls & Lame Calls

Battered Rams don't put up much of a fight.

Winning is hard in the NFL, especially this season for the Green Bay Packers. So I don’t denigrate any game in which the green and gold walks off the field victorious. Winning feels better than losing. That said, Monday night’s 24-12 conquest of the Los Angeles Rams was probably more about the haplessness of the opponent, than the quality of Green Bay’s play. The Pack made enough mistakes to lose several games, and seemed to repeatedly leave the door open for a Rams comeback. But by the fourth quarter the visitors from the west more resembled a group of lost soldiers who just wanted to get out of the cold, evidenced by their passively allowing Green Bay to run the final eight minutes of the game off the clock.
