When the Green Bay Packers took the field for an open OTA practice last Wednesday, their head coach had two intact Achilles tendons. Now Matt LaFleur is functioning with just one, having torn the other in a game of Lightning* last Wednesday.
* That’s right, folks. We call the game “Lightning” here at APC, not “Knockout.”
Now, after reportedly having surgery to repair the tendon on Sunday, LaFleur will be driving around Clarke Hinkle Field on a golf cart providing his players with instruction and coaching in a little bit of a less hands-on capacity.
