Minicamp is closed. That’s the plan this year for the Green Bay Packers under new head coach Matt LaFleur, who has evidently decided that he does not want to make his team’s mandatory minicamp practices open to the public. With the team installing a new offensive scheme, it is not a crazy idea, but it is a bit disappointing for fans who have counted on seeing minicamp practices over the past decade-plus.
However, while fans can’t see practice with their own eyes today, the media will still be allowed into the Don Hutson Center, at least for a portion of practice.
