On the question of urgency, Packers coach Matt LaFleur stresses the importance of maximizing postseason moments

PALM BEACH, Fla. – Matt LaFleur sees tangible reasons the Green Bay Packers have not yet taken the next step, ascending to a Super Bowl trip.

As for the intangible that general manager Brian Gutekunst outlined after last season, the need to “ramp up urgency,” LaFleur believes his team has a strong foundation in place. The Packers have fielded the NFL’s youngest roster two consecutive seasons, and they still will be among the league’s youngest in 2025. Youth can be molded. It’s a constant challenge.

LaFleur said the youngsters not only gained necessary experience these past two seasons, exiting the playoffs to eventual NFC champions, they’re starting to realize how rapidly the years in a Super Bowl window pass by.
