One would have to imagine that any scouts in attendance that day did exactly that. Scouts showed up to the pro day to watch some high profile NFL talents including Vernon Butler, Kenneth Dixon and Jeff Driskel. What they got to see was Brice run a 4.44 second 40-yard dash, leap 42 inches on his vertical and jump 11-feet, 1-inch for his broad jump. He also put up 21 reps on the bench press. His broad jump and vertical would have ranked first among any safeties at the combine and his bench press would have been second among safeties at the combine.
