GREEN BAY, Wis. -- Who knows how long Mike McCarthy had been saving 'Bazooka' -- the triple-option play the Green Bay Packers ran on a second-quarter third-and-1 against the Philadelphia Eagles? But his quarterback's subsequent hamstring injury might prevent him from calling it any time soon.
As impressive as it was to see Aaron Rodgers execute the option play for a 4-yard gain in the second quarter of Monday night's win, it's not something the Green Bay Packers likely will be able to use this Sunday against the Houston Texans, and perhaps beyond, given Rodgers' ailing left leg.
