are playing on Thanksgiving Day. But for the first time in the NFL’s history, there will be a game on Black Friday as well as the modern tradition of three games on Thanksgiving itself.
That Friday game will be an AFC East matchup, pitting the division-leading Miami Dolphins (-10)
against the New York Jets (+10). Of course, that game seemed like it would be a more exciting matchup before Aaron Rodgers’ injury, but instead the Jets will be starting Tim Boyle on Friday at quarterback after benching Zach Wilson last Sunday.
It may not be the best showcase for the NFL, but at least there is a divisional rivalry at play, as there is in all three of the Thursday games.
