NFL Supplemental Draft 2018: Packers do not acquire any players

For the first time in several years, the NFL’s Supplemental Draft was a notable event in 2018. Five players were granted eligibility for the special selection process, which is open to college football players who did not declare for the primary draft but who face problems with their college eligibility for the upcoming season.

The group was led by cornerback Sam Beal from Western Michigan, thought by many analysts to be worthy of a third-round pick. Fellow corner Adonis Alexander from Virginia Tech was also in the mix, viewed as a mid-round pick coming into the day.
