The NFL’s 2024 regular season finally gets underway tonight, as the two-time defending Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs start the season with a playoff rematch. Coming into town are the Baltimore Ravens, who were the AFC’s #1 seed a year ago and who dropped a 17-10 decision in Baltimore to the eventual champs.
Kansas City defeated the San Francisco 49ers 25-22 two weeks later in Super Bowl LVIII to claim their second straight title and begin their quest for a three-peat — something that no team has accomplished since the Green Bay Packers of 1965-67.
