The Dallas Cowboys’ Osa Odighizuwa, widely considered to have been the top free-agent defensive lineman prospect available this offseason, has signed a new four-year, $80 million contract according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport. It was previously reported that the Cowboys would be franchise tagging Odighizuwa, had the two sides not come to a contract extension.
Just hours before the franchise tag deadline, Dallas locked in their guy.
Odighizuwa and the Philadelphia Eagles’ Milton Williams were ranked by most analysts as the top two defensive tackles in the 2025 free-agent class. At the moment, there has been no indication that the Eagles plan on tagging Williams, which means that he is still likely to become a free agent when the legal tampering window opens up in less than a week.
