NFC North Rundown, Week 7: Trubisky’s Hail Mary comes up short in Chicago

The NFC North division almost notched a perfect week. Almost.

As the Green Bay Packers soaked in an off week during their annual bye, almost each of their competitors came out of the week with a “W.” Unfortunately for the Chicago Bears, one yard was the difference as a completed Hail Mary pass was stopped short of the goal line with no time left on the clock. It was one of several frustrating miscues and shortcomings in a close loss to a very talented New England team.

In Minnesota, the Vikings’ offense continued to roll behind Adam Thielen and backup running back Latavius Murray, while the Detroit Lions received their own lift from the running game as well as a young tight end.
