If you're in need of some NFL news this offseason, just wait until Friday afternoon. The NFL usually provides some then.
This week's NFL news dump included four suspensions. The most prominent was to Jacksonville Jaguars cornerback Aaron Colvin. Colvin started 15 games in his second season and had 73 tackles. His suspension was for a violation of the performance-enhancing drugs policy.
“I made a mistake and I will take responsibility for it,” Colvin said in a statement. “I apologize to my family, the Jaguars’ organization, especially my coaches and teammates, as well as Jaguars fans who have been supportive of me since I was drafted here in 2014.
