A few uniform number notes for the Green Bay Packers coming out of final cuts: new quarterback Malik Willis, who was acquired via trade with the Tennessee Titans, is taking No. 2, while cornerback Carrington Valentine is switching from No. 37 to No. 24.
Willis wore No. 7 in high school at Roswell, in college at Liberty and in the NFL with the Titans, but that number is occupied by linebacker Quay Walker. He’ll take No. 2, which was vacated by kicker Greg Joseph when he was released on Wednesday.
