GREEN BAY - If it feels like Green Bay is painting the town green and gold ahead of the NFL draft in April, you’re not wrong.
A new mural of Packers great Ray Nitschke completed over the weekend on the downtown bridge that bears his name captures the ferocious middle linebacker with his eyes squinting and right forearm covered with padding, appearing to have run through the tower's brick wall.
The new addition to the Ray Nitschke Memorial Bridge on Main Street is the second high-profile Packers mural local artist Beau Thomas, who owns Trackside Design LLC, has painted downtown this summer.
