GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) – As the clock ticks closer to the start of the NFL draft in Green Bay, construction around Lambeau Field has picked up.
The most visible sign of progress is the NFL draft stage and theater near the corner of Oneida and Lombardi. On Thursday, Local 5 News was there when construction workers raised the roof of the theater. Work on the stage and theater continued on Friday.
“So we have the structure, we have the theater but then the stage will come to life and you’ll start seeing LED’s a bunch of different graphics that are going to mimic Lambeau Field,” said Green Bay Packers planning specialist Megan Roberson.
