Tonight, the defending Super Bowl champions are back on the field in prime time. The Kansas City Chiefs host the New Orleans Saints on Monday Night Football this evening to close out week 5 of the 2024 NFL season.
Despite fielding an offense that is less productive than usual, the Chiefs remain one of just two undefeated teams left at this point, joining the 5-0 Minnesota Vikings. They will face a Saints defense that has been one of the best at forcing turnovers this season and that ranks sixth in points per game allowed. Meanwhile, the Saints’ offense leads the league in points per game, while the Chiefs’ D sits one notch behind New Orleans in points allowed at 7th.
