The Green Bay Packers have embarked on a new era over the last couple years with a new general manager and a new head coach, but they took time this past weekend to take one last look back.
Former general manager Ted Thompson was inducted into the Green Bay Packers Hall of Fame at a ceremony Saturday night where former colleagues paid tribute to the man who molded the Packers into a consistent Super Bowl contender.
Thompson will forever be remembered as the man who drafted Aaron Rodgers with his first pick as GM as well as the man who traded away quarterback Brett Favre and both decisions took tremendous courage.
