So far, the Green Bay Packers are yet to add a wide receiver this offseason.
But they have interest in doing so. ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported that the Packers were one of the teams interested in signing Emmanuel Sanders, who picked the New Orleans Saints.
Sports Illustrated’s Bill Huber backed that up, reporting that the interest was “real” in signing Sanders.
That move wasn’t to be, but it shows the Packers are keen to get help at wide receiver. And while there are still options in free agency including Robby Anderson, they may choose to wait until next month’s draft.
