Montez Sweat recently posted one of the best performances ever by an edge rusher or defensive lineman at the NFL Scouting Combine. The Mississippi State product — who moved over to the defense after being a former tight end recruit at Michigan State — is meeting with NFL teams and media at the Bulldogs’ Pro Day on Wednesday as he continues to gain traction near the tops of draft boards.
The Green Bay Packers are also apparently very interested in Sweat, who told NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero that the Packers are one of the teams that has scheduled a pre-draft visit with him.
