Today Ted Thomspon and the Green Bay Packers did something a bit out of character for the organization – they took a minute away from celebrating their win over the Dallas Cowboys and inked defensive end Mike Daniels to a four-year extension.
Daniels has always been the focus of the 2015-16 offseason. After the Packers took care of Randall Cobb and Bryan Bulaga earlier this year, it was a well documented fact that Daniels was next.
It just wasn’t clear how quickly his contract number would be called.
