As the Green Bay Packers tend to do, they have announced the decision to give an extension to a young player they drafted and allowed to grow.
In this case, it is Mike Daniels.
The newly-extended Daniels is set to begin a reported 4-year, $42 million contract in 2016, keeping a young and talented player off the market as usual.
While Daniels is undoubtedly a good player, was this a good investment?
Quite simply, yes.
I love this contract for him, and am exceedingly glad to see him brought back.
