GREEN BAY, Wis. -- Mike Daniels insisted that he didn't talk himself into the costly penalty that put the Green Bay Packers in an early hole by coming into the game overhyped, but his head butt of Detroit Lions center Travis Swanson will go down as one of the most ill-advised acts of Monday night's loss.
It was Daniels, the Packers' defensive tackle, who last week said his team needed to "retaliate" and "deliver some blows" after seeing Aaron Rodgers and Davante Adams go down with injuries at the hands of NFC North foes Minnesota and Chicago, respectively.
