Outside linebacker/defensive end Melvin Ingram officially makes his debut in a Chiefs uniform Sunday against Green Bay.
Ingram, for whom the Chiefs traded last week ahead of the league-wide trade deadline, was not among the team’s list of inactive players for Sunday’s game against the Packers at Arrowhead Stadium.
Exactly how much playing time Ingram sees will be known as the game unfolds. But Chiefs coach Andy Reid said Friday that the defense will “have a few plays” for Ingram in a likely situational role.
Middle linebacker Anthony Hitchens makes his return to action for the first time since he suffered a triceps injury in Week 6.
