After Tuesday’s practice inside Lambeau Field, Green Bay Packers quarterback Matt LaFleur challenged rookie quarterback Jordan Love to start “letting it rip” during 11-on-11 work.
The Packers’ first-round pick must have embraced the challenge.
LaFleur said Love was “much better” during Friday’s practice inside the Don Hutson Center.
“I thought today he was much better. He was more aggressive. I thought he was more decisive. That’s what we want to continue to see,” LaFleur said.
Incremental improvement is all the Packers can expect from their rookie passer.
Love, the 26th overall pick, didn’t get a traditional offseason and faced a near-impossible challenge to start his first NFL training camp.
