When it comes to the ongoing conflict between the Green Bay Packers and quarterback Aaron Rodgers, coach Matt LaFleur is a man stuck in the middle.
In analogy form: he’s the kid suffering in the background during the early stages of divorce proceedings.
Speaking with Larry McCarren of the team’s website, LaFleur expressed disappointment in the escalating situation between quarterback and organization.
“Obviously, it’s pretty disappointing, considering all the success we’ve had over these past two seasons,” LaFleur said.
Rodgers, the league’s MVP in 2020, reportedly wants out of Green Bay after his frustration with the team’s leadership boiled over this offseason.
