The Packers announced earlier this afternoon that head coach Matt LaFleur has established a minority coaching fellowship, a yearlong, full-time position for young and aspiring minority coaches.
LaFleur announced on Wednesday that former Packers wide receiver Ruvell Martin is the first hire for the fellowship.
Most Packers fans will undoubtedly remember Martin from his time in Green and Gold when he played with Aaron Rodgers, but he has actually caught passes from LaFleur as well. That's right, the two played together at Saginaw Valley State.
Martin will work with the offense and assist with the wide receivers during his yearlong fellowship.
