Matt Hasselbeck pokes fun at himself & thanks Packers for drafting him

A former Packers backup had some fun at his own expense on Twitter today.

Matt Hasselbeck was one of a long string of Green Bay Packers backup quarterbacks who sat behind Brett Favre for a few years, was traded, and went on to have some significant success in the NFL with another team. He also is known for having a great, self-deprecating sense of humor. Today was an example of the latter in full force.

This afternoon, the Packers' 6th-round pick in 1998 tweeted out a photo of an college football card that detailed his stats at Boston College:

That in turn led him to show his appreciation for being selected in the NFL Draft, despite the lack of impressive numbers:

I'd like to publicly thank Ron Wolf, Mike Holmgren, Andy Reid, & the entire Green Bay Packers organization for drafting me w/ these stats.
