GREEN BAY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- After 17 seasons in the NFL, 16 with the Green Bay Packers, kicker Mason Crosby is retiring from the NFL.

Crosby was originally drafted by the Packers in 2007 in the sixth round with the 193rd overall pick.

"For me it's just like being a kid growing up in Georgetown, Texas and being drafted to this place 18 years ago, I couldn't have imagined what this feeling would feel like. It's definitely everything that I could have hoped for in the fact that I get to say that I'm going to retire a Green Bay Packer," said Crosby during his press conference in Green Bay, Friday, March 7.
