Marcedes Lewis finds new life in Packers' refreshed offense

And for Marcedes Lewis' sake, enough will have changed for him to settle into more of an impactful role in the Packers' offense in 2019.

Lewis, who was a free agent for all but approximately three hours after the start of the new league year on Wednesday, will re-sign with the team on a one-year deal, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.

The soon-to-be-35-year-old Lewis was one of two tight ends picked up by the Packers last offseason -- paired with Jimmy Graham -- after spending the entirety of his career with the Jacksonville Jaguars.
