All-Pro running back Christian McCaffrey remains doubtful for Saturday’s game with a shoulder injury. He’s played in only three games this season, having missed a significant chunk of time with an ankle sprain before injuring his shoulder during his Week 9 return.
In last year’s matchup between the Packers and Panthers, McCaffrey rushed 20 times for 108 yards and one touchdown. He also hauled in six catches for an additional 33 yards through the air. The game came down to a final goal-line stand from the Packers defense, or McCaffrey’s numbers would’ve looked even more impressive.
Even without McCaffrey, though, the Panthers still have a talented back on the roster in Mike Davis.
