New Green Bay Packers head coach Matt LaFleur has lured a familiar face back to Wisconsin in order to round out his first staff. According to ESPN’s Rob Demovsky, former wide-receivers coach Luke Getsy will return to Green Bay as quarterbacks coach.
Getsy left the Packers’ coaching staff last offseason to become the offensive coordinator at Mississippi State. Though head coach Joe Moorhead called the plays, Getsy had a sizable input on the game planning. The Bulldogs improved during Getsy’s lone year on the job, improving 13 spots in offensive S&P+ from the previous season.
