LB Joe Thomas signed with Cowboys

Thomas, who entered the league as an undrafted free agent out of South Carolina State in 2014, recorded 110 tackles with 1½ sacks, an interception and forced fumble in 42 games over three seasons in Green Bay.

After leading all Packers linebackers in snaps in 2016, Thomas was limited to only 104 defensive snaps this past season and missed four games due to an ankle injury.

Thomas has a small connection to the Cowboys. The 6-foot-1, 227-pound linebacker spent two weeks on the Dallas’ practice squad after not making the Packers’ 53-man roster coming out of camp in 2015.
