GREEN BAY – Former Green Bay Packers center and current sports analyst Larry McCarren will receive the Bart and Cherry Starr Recognition Award from the Packers Hall of Fame.
He joins a growing list of names the Packers Hall of Fame is honoring this year. Clay Matthews and Aaron Kampman are this year's hall of fame inductees, and Sam Seale, national scout for the Packers, will receive the Bob Harlan Leadership Award. The hall of fame induction banquet is scheduled for Aug. 29 in the Lambeau Field Atrium.
McCarren, a Packers Hall of Fame member, was drafted in the 12th round of the 1973 NFL draft.
