GREEN BAY, Wis. -- Not even the 26th-ranked defense in the NFL was enough of a tonic for the Green Bay Packers' struggling offense.
No matter that they were playing the one-win Detroit Lions, Aaron Rodgers & Co. got off to another horrendous start, which drew boos from the Lambeau Field crowd.
A three-point first half marked their lowest scoring performance in a first half this season. Their previous first-half low was seven points, which happened three times – including in their previous two games at Denver and at Carolina.
But both the Broncos and Panthers came into those games ranked in the top 10 in total defense.
