After Family Night, Green Bay Packers head coach Matt LaFleur dropped a couple of nuggets about the team’s injury situation. According to LaFleur, “the plan” is for right tackle Zach Tom, who has only been participating in individual drills and walkthroughs since his pec injury in the spring, to suit up for team drills next week.
Without Tom on Family Night, the Packers rotated between three options at right tackle: Andre Dillard, Kadeem Telfort and Caleb Jones. If quarterback Jordan Love is going to play next week against the Cleveland Browns in Green Bay’s preseason opener, I’m sure that LaFleur will get a lot better sleep at night knowing he’s going to have his starting right tackle out there when the bullets are live.
